The Division
The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.
Job Summary
This position assists the Duty Engineer and leads a team of technicians to provide 24/7 comprehensive facilities management services for the racecourse, including the Shatin Data Centre and Stable areas. Responsibilities include supervising technicians and coordinating external contractors in the preventive and corrective maintenance of mission‑critical systems such as UPS, fire services systems, elevators and escalators, backup generators, chiller plants, CRAC units, track lighting control systems, and power quality monitoring systems. The role also involves handling emergency incidents and reporting, ensuring all installations meet optimal technical and safety standards, and providing technical support on racedays to ensure stable and efficient operation of all facilities.
The Job
- To assist duty engineer to monitor 7x24 operation for the highest uptime of redundant power supply and continuous cooling for Shatin Data Centre
- Second in-charge of the building operation for the regular 7 x 24 operation and any ad hoc and emergency situations at racecourse and stable area.
- Monitor and liaise with external contractor to guarantee the job delivery
- Require to report duty according to racing fixture and to control the track light system at race meeting and morning track work
About You
- Certificate / Craft certificate in Electrical /Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or other relevant engineer discipline
- Must be a Registered Electrical Worker (Grade A & B) under the EMSD, and hold a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate “Green Card”
- Basic knowledge of computer operations required
- Minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience in the maintenance, operation and troubleshooting of UPS(Uninterruptible Power supply) system, generators, power supply system, main distribution boards, air conditioning system, and fire protection equipment.
- Possession of a valid driving license for a Light Good Vehicle is an advantage
