The Division
The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement. With Conghua Racecourse and Greater Bay Area expansion, we’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.
The Job
- Assigned to different supporting positions in the stables according to the schedule arranged by the supervisor, including:
- Handling retired or quarantined horses
- Assisting with the transportation, loading/unloading of horses at the entrance/exit
- Assisting with the daily operations and cleaning of the horse swimming pool, helping with the entry and exit of horses for swimming
- Providing horse grooming services
- Patrolling the racehorse stables and quarantine stables in the evening
- During morning track work, assisting in handling loose or injured horses and assisting injured personnel
- On race days, assisting the assembly of horses for races and ensuring smooth entry and exit in the parade ring
About You
- Secondary 3 or above
- Possess a sense of responsibility, integrity, initiative, focus, flexibility, and diligence, as well as good communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrate a proactive and positive attitude towards work and learning, with the ability to work independently
- Horse handling experience is preferred
- Work Location: Sha Tin Racecourse
- Shift based (including midnight shift), 6 days working week, 48 hours per week , 6 days a week, total 48 hours
- Shift duty is also required on Sundays and public holidays, working hours will be adjusted according to operational needs
