The Divison
The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement. With Conghua Racecourse and Greater Bay Area expansion, we’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.
Job Summary
The position reports to the Senior Manager, Veterinary Clinical Training Centre project, Mainland Veterinary Engagement, Racing, to support educational projects / initiatives in Mainland China.
They will assist in overseeing the day-to-day project activities of the Veterinary Clinical Training Centre project’s development office. This role involves supporting project execution, operational planning, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance to relevant standards, and enhancing team efficiency.
The position will also support other initiatives developed by MVE as required.
The Job
- Assist SM, VCTC and EM, MVE to plan and implement the project including:
- Project planning and management
- Administration, including assisting with budgets and monitoring timelines
- Coordinating team members and workstreams to ensure timely delivery of the project
- Collaborate with other departments of the Club and external stakeholders to support the development of the VCTC
- Draft documents for management such as management reports, committee papers, presentation materials, etc., and make suggestions for improvement.
- Work with assigned work streams on planning, related documentations and PowerPoint Presentations
- Assist with procurement processes, budget planning
- Assist with maintenance of operational expenses and performance metrics
- Liaise with relevant workstreams on regulatory compliance
- Undertake any ad-hoc projects as directed by the management
About You
- A Bachelor degree in any Business disciplines, Marketing, Journalism or other related disciplines
- Minimum 5 - 8 years relevant experience in project management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Results-driven, flexible and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Understanding of the Racing / Equine/ Veterinary industry is a strong advantage
- Willing to work and travel in the Mainland for projects
- Excellent PowerPoint skills, business writing skills to create
presentations for management reports - Strong stakeholder management skill
- Excellent with Excel, Word and other M365 apps
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communicator with good interpersonal and time-management skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese
