Assistant Manager / Senior Analyst, Corporate Investigations

Job Summary

The job holder reports to the Manager, Corporate Investigations (MCI). He/she is responsible for assisting the MCI in handling betting/membership/employee integrity and misconduct related investigations, preparing standardised management protocols and systems, conducting law enforcement agencies liaison, and reporting metrics.

 

The job scope covers Non-Racing Integrity Investigations (Staff Misconduct / Criminal Cases), Law enforcement liaison, Anti-Fraud Management and Brand Protection and Support Financial Crime Risk Program Activities.

The Job

You will:

  • Non-Racing Integrity Investigations (Staff Misconduct / Criminal Cases)
    • Conduct investigations of non-racing integrity breaches and employee misconduct related matters
    • Compiling investigation reports for senior management in relation to investigations conducted by him
    • Assist to monitors the Club's 'Speak-Up' hotline
  • Law Enforcement Liaison
    • Liaises with all Law Enforcement Agencies on incoming requests for information and execution of search warrants for information
    • Establishes communication with Law Enforcement Agencies in order to legitimately obtain information required by the Club from the agencies, as approved by Financial Crime Risk management
  • Anti-Fraud Management and Brand Protection
    • Assist in engaging the vendor to detect any unauthorised use of the Club's brand, content, or products on websites, social media, mobile apps, and emails
    • Identifies and assesses trends from the data produced from the brand protection programme
  • Integrity Training
    • Delivers integrity related face-to-face training across the Club and its subsidiaries to ensure all Club employees, at all levels across the organisation, have awareness and understanding of the Club's core value of integrity, the anti-bribery policy, and the integrity management framework
  • Support FCR Program Activities
    • Collates all sources of information required for monthly/bi-annual/annual reports and ensures accuracy of data.
    • Delivers annual training to HKJC staff on integrity related matters in support of FCPR
    • Assists MCI in driving the education and awareness of the use of Speak Up lines across the Club

About You

You should have:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in intelligence and/or investigation work

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
