The Division - Membership & Customer Excellence (MCE)
The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.
The Job
- Create, maintain and publish weekly rosters on time, accurately and in accordance with established standards.
- Manage daily roster changes to meet operational requirements, including shift changes, on/off arrangements and manpower adjustments as appropriate.
- Handle enquiries from part-time staff on work schedules, salary information, attendance matters, policies and procedures through designated communication channels.
- Maintain and administer part-time staff performance rating records and related administration files.
- Assist in payroll, attendance procedures and other administrative processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timely processing.
- Produce regular operational reports and manpower-related summaries for Section Heads and HR.
- Perform Check-In Counter duties on race days and non-race days, including the use of relevant digital attendance or biometric systems where required.
- Handle PTS enrolment on the Facial Recognition system and provide basic support to staff in using related digital tools and processes.
- Assist in training coordination and IVE lecturers’ visits, including preparation of materials and administrative support.
- Support continuous improvement, system enhancement or digital transformation initiatives related to rostering, attendance, payroll and staff administration.
- Assist part-time staff with the setup and use of HR and workforce-related digital platforms and applications, ensuring they can access schedules, pay information and training materials as required.
- Monitor training completion records and follow up with part-time staff to ensure timely completion of mandatory online training programmes.
- Perform other assignments and projects as and when assigned by Management.
- Shift hours:
- Day race shift: 07:30-16:30/ 10:00-19:00
- Night race shift: 09:30-18:30/ 13:00-24:00
- Twilight race: 09:30-18:30/ 14:00-23:00
- Working Location: Sha Tin and Happy Valley Racecourses
About You
- Diploma holder or above in any disciplines
- At least 1 year of hands-on work experience, preferably in rostering, administration, workforce coordination or catering operations. Fresh graduates with strong potential will also be considered.
- Knowledge of Hong Kong employment ordinances and related regulations will be an advantage;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word; comfortable using HR, rostering, attendance or payroll systems;
- Basic data handling and reporting skills; awareness of or interest in digital tools and AI-enabled technologies used to improve administrative efficiency and staff support.
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese to handle routine staff enquiries and day-to-day communication.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels; a good team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn; detail-oriented, organised and able to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment; open to change and supportive of new technology adoption; willing to work shift duty.
