Catering Revenue Supervisor

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Department

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

The Job

  • Prepare Race-day and monthly revenue reports for management information.
  • Update the Clubhouse / Racecourse selling price and menu items in the point-of-sales system.
  • Supervise the part time cashiers of Trackside Catering (Public segment) during the race-day.
  • Perform day end reconciliation cash sales report and notify Catering Revenue Officer for any cash discrepancies.
  • Ensure all sales are properly recorded and reconciled.
  • Reconcile the non-member charges with “OFIS” report.
  • Prepare monthly Adjustment in Financial Accounting and Supply Chain system
  • Follow up the outstanding charges and refund cases.
  • Oversee the inventory level of the consumable supplies
  • Handle the deposit charges on catering functions.
  • Follow up the cash discrepancies with concerned part time cashiers.
  • Perform other assignments and projects as and when assigned by the Management.

About You

  • A diploma in Hotel & Catering Management or equivalent
  • 3 year working experience in hospitality food & beverage operations
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Sound PC knowledge on Excel and practical experience on Chinese input
  • Fluent communication in both English and Chinese
  • Sound interpersonal skills
