Assistant Manager, Data Analytics (Wagering Product Finance)

The Division

The Finance Division is a key business partner, balancing oversight with support. The Department

This role will perform data mining and analysis, develop interactive dashboards and financial models, develop and maintain BIS / relevant databases to support the team's analytical function. In addition, the job holder will develop new trading / business reports and analyses to meet the business needs. In addition, the job holder will assist supervisors in supporting process review and strategic programs to improve operational efficiency and optimise long-term business sustainability. It is also the responsibility of the job holder to monitor day-to-day football trading operation to ensure its compliance with SDA, licensing requirements, Betting Rules and relevant risk management frameworks.

The Job

Data exploration and analysis: Collect, clean, process and explore large datasets from diverse sources to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies in wagering performance
Data pipeline: Support the development and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes when needed
Support the development and maintenance of new executive reports producing actionable insights around business KPIs
Produce existing regular management reporting timely and accurately
Maintain and enhance data management processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data
Work with stakeholders across Finance, Sports and Membership departments to facilitate data-driven decision-making and knowledge sharing
Identify opportunities for process enhancements in data analytics and contribute innovative ideas to improve operational efficiencies

About You

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology
3-5 years of working experience in data analysis, statistical analysis, data engineering or related fields
Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
Proficiency in data wrangling using Python (pandas, NumPy) or Alteryx
Hands‑on experience with data visualizations and BI tools (Tableau or Power BI)
