Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club ("the Club") is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Charities and Community (C&C) Division manages strategic planning, grant donations, impactful project initiation, community engagement, and the day-to-day operations of the HKJC Charities Trust. C&C works with the Government, NGOs, and community partners to proactively identify root causes of social issues and address them through innovative approaches and cross-sectoral collaboration.

The Job
- Support grant making and programme execution, including donation processing and Trust-Initiated Project implementation.
- Develop and maintain project plans; monitor delivery, budget, and timelines, and prepare progress/impact reports.
- Conduct research to inform strategies, initiatives, and social impact planning.
- Engage and coordinate with NGOs, government, and stakeholders to drive collaboration.
- Consolidate insights and prepare reports, presentations, and board/committee materials.
- Provide operational support across programmes, including budgeting, procurement, compliance, and administration.
About You
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree holder, preferably in Public Administration, Public Policy, Non-Profit Management, Public Health, Social Work, or Social Sciences
- Less than 3 years of full-time working experience, preferably with exposure to research, project management, or consultancy in government, NGOs, social welfare sector or professional bodies would be advantageous
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with good business acumen and adaptability
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in both English and Cantonese
- Strong awareness of Hong Kong social issues
- Passionate about driving social impact and building a career in the charity sector
