The Division

Job Summary
- Reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources Data and Reporting, he/she is responsible for identifying, extracting and providing access to People data and people-related data across all HR systems within the Club, including the SuccessFactors system and its interfaces to other related systems in Hong Kong and PRC.
- He/She will support the optimization of our People data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. The ideal candidate is a capable data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and even building them from the ground up. Our Manager, Human Resources Data and Reporting will support our data analysts and business users as well as software developers and database architects on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.
- He/She must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of contributing to the optimization or even re-designing of our Club’s HR data architecture to support our next generation of services and data initiatives.
- He/She will also be tasked to manage workstreams/projects involving data inflows & outflows as the Club is going through various Transformation initiatives.
The Job
- Maintain and enhance data management processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across departments.
- Identifies ways to streamline and automate data extraction and report generation process - to optimize the extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, APIs, and ‘big data’ technologies.
- Works with stakeholders across various teams within HR to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Assist in the planning and execution of analytical projects, ensuring timely delivery of insights that align with business objectives.
- Become a SME for SuccessFactors in terms of data structures and data fields, to support reporting & analytics requirements and help other P&OD colleagues to be familiar with SF data
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements in data analytics, maintain optimal data pipeline architecture and assist with the implementation of data pipelines
- Undertake other duties as assigned by Manager.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in data analytics, statistical analysis, or related fields, preferably in a similar size of organization.
- Proven experience in designing, managing and optimizing data pipelines, databases and integrations with hands-on knowledge in SQL, and data transformation techniques.
- Knowledge of HR technologies/systems (SAP SuccessFactors), with practical experience in data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
- Good understanding of data governance, data quality management with the ability to balance business needs and data control requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts into business insights.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-pace enviornment.
