Executive Manager, Security Architecture, Design and Delivery

The Executive Manager, Security Architecture, Design and Delivery is responsible for the architecture, development and delivery of cyber controls to protect the Club’s information systems and assets, and across key change initiatives for the Club.

As the Distinguished Architect for Cyber, this role involves defining the overall Cyber Security Architecture for the Club, reference architecture, and security patterns – and embedding them across technology and the business, and the delivery of the Cyber Security Transformation Programme. This role works closely with the Head of Cyber Security, the Executive Manager, Cyber Security Operations & Defense, Executive Manager, Cyber Risk Management, Businss Information Security Officer, and other senior business/technology leaders to develop and deliver cyber security controls. The incumbent will also lead the Cyber Security Transformation Programme which underpins the uplift of the Club’s cyber resiliency capability, addressing the most prevalent and relevant cyber risks, and future-proofing the Club to deal with emerging cyber risks.

This incumbent is expected to be a technology and thought leader with pragmatic experience in Programme and Financial Management, Cyber Security Architecture, Design and Delivery.

As a direct report to the Head of Cyber Security, proactive participation is expected in the strategic and operational functions of the management team with ongoing identification of cross functional improvement initiatives. As a role model and a key member of the IT Executive Team, this role is responsible for nurturing the desired culture within the IT Division and upholding the Club’s the highest standards of integrity in all its activities.
