Bartender

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for supporting the daily operations and serve the beverage offerings in the Bar and restaurant operations to ensure business and customer service objectives and targets are achieved consistently. He/she is responsible for providing consistent, high quality beverage and service to our customers including but not limited to Members and their guests; maintaining high level of hygiene and quality standard for the bar according to the club's and the requirements of relevant government departments; keeping the service standard at top quality and achieve high level of customer satisfaction; and creating classic and innovative recipes exceeding customers' needs and expectations.

Major Tasks

Greet customers, present menu, answer inquires, respond to customers' requests promptly in a politely and professionally, make recommendation, upsell items and inform them about new beverages and specials.
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard menus or mix and garnish cocktails based on standard specs and serve beverages to customers.
Keep the work and dining area clean and organized by clearing trash, clean tables and wash glasses, utensils and equipment keep sanitary environment at high standard.
Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully stocked with necessary tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests, and arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
Manage storage and inventory control, ensuring accurate stock records.
Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education

Qualifications

Experience

A minimum of 1 year relevant experience gained in hotel, clubhouse, or premium restaurant
Working knowledge of standard drink recipes, spirits, wine and beer, and food and beverage laws and regulations
Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments
Fluent in English. Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
