Security Supervisor (Security Systems Project)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Support the management of the CRC security and biosecurity systems development;
  2. Support the preparation of budget for security and biosecurity systems development;
  3. Support the operations and management of CRC Badging Office;
  4. Ensure the operational serviceability of security and biosecurity systems in CRC;
  5. Support the management of CRC security and biosecurity systems equipment inventory and conduct annual inventory inspections;
  6. Assist the supervision of the security systems R&M contractor on repair and maintenance of onsite security and biosecurity systems;
  7. Liaise with CRC Customs on CRC Customs operations-related security system needs in Customs facilities in CRC and Customs Office in Jeikou;
  8. Work with Corporate Security System Team and Project Team on the Phase II development projects security systems requirements, design, construction and UAT;
  9. Participate in the security operations for the CRC Grandstand race day and non-race day events;
  10. Communicate with Corporate Security System Team on Club security system operations and equipment standards; and
  11. Any other duties as directed by Executive Manager, China Security (EM CS) and Security Manager (Security Systems & Development) (SM SSD), CRC or other dedicated supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

To support training and career development, candidates holding any of the following entry-level certifications will be given preference:

  1. Project Management: Entry-level PMI certification (e.g., CAPM).
  2. Networking: Cisco CCNA or equivalent network certification.
  3. Security Engineering: Vendor-provided basic training certificates (e.g., CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems).

Experience

  1. Tertiary educated and have a recognized certificate/diploma or above in electronic engineering, information technology or equivalent. Full-time Bachelor’s degree or above is preferred.
  2. With at least 5 years’ relevant and hands-on working experience and knowledge in administration, implementation, maintenance and operation of electronic security system, including alarm system, access control system and IP-based CCTV system.
  3. Good knowledge of alarm systems, access control system and IP-based CCTV system and up-to-date product knowledge in electronic security systems.
  4. Solid knowledge of networking concepts; candidates with relevant network skills or certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) will be an advantage.
  5. Hands-on experience and knowledge of MS Windows/Linux server platforms and computer server hardware.
  6. Experience in project management is preferred, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and support the implementation of electronic security systems projects. Candidates holding project management certifications are highly valued.
  7. Good command of Chinese. Able to communicate in Cantonese and English is an advantage.
