Senior OSH Officer 高级OSH主任

Job Summary

The job holder is vital for ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety laws and regulations by supporting the coordination of facilities support services. Responsibilities include conducting safety inspections, monitoring daily activities, and providing consultation on workplace safety in line with the Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (OSHMS). The job holder also contributes to safety training, assists in incident investigations, helps prepare safety manuals and procedures, and maintains record-keeping, thereby supporting the Club's commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Major Tasks

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the safety management system and related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with teams to conduct risk assessments on operational activities and project sites.
  • Plan and conduct safety training sessions and promotional activities to enhance awareness.
  • Perform safety inspections across project sites, workshops, and facilities to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct investigations and analyses of incidents to identify root causes and preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant occupational safety and health legislations and prepare necessary reports.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and health within the organization.
  • Organize occupational disease monitoring, lead physical examinations, and establish employees' occupational health guardianship archives.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by Line Manager

Education

Bachelor degree or above, with priority given to majors related to environmental science, environmental engineering, safety engineering, etc;

Qualifications

  • Registered Safety Officer under Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance; Registered Safety Auditor is an advantage.
  • Holder of valid first aid certificate.
  • Holder relevant professional qualifications such as CFM, MCIOB, or MRICS are preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years' post-registration OSH working experience (as Client or corporate role) in construction/FM industry; applicant with less experiences is considered as Safety Officer.
  • Experience in drafting operation manuals and establishing standards, guidelines and/or procedures is a plus.
