Service Staff
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the restaurant through providing excellent food and beverage services to Members and their guests in the restaurant according the established standards at top quality level to ensure business and customer service objectives and targets are achieved consistently. Assisting the supervisor to ensure a smooth and efficient service in the assigned section of the restaurant; keeping the service standard at top quality and achieve high level of customer satisfaction; and maintaining a high level of hygiene and quality standard for the restaurant.
Major Tasks
- Support Food and Beverage operations and provide excellent service to Members and guests.
- Serve food and beverages promptly; replenish water and beverages and take additional orders as needed.
- Set tables with tableware, decorations, condiments and napkins; remove used tableware/ consumable items from tables and reset tables for the next customer.
- Maintain the tableware and consumable items are adequate to support daily operations.
- Keep the workstation tidy, clean, hygienic and safe at all times.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education
Qualifications
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year related restaurant experience gained in hotels/clubs/restaurants
- Sound knowledge of restaurant etiquette. Basic knowledge of tableside service, food, wine, beer, liquor, sake, Chinese wine etc.
- Good customer service skills, patient and friendly with problem solving skills
- Ability to pay attention to details, stand and walk for extended periods
- Good communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
