(Assistant) Manager, Human Resources (Special Projects)
Job Summary
The Human Resources Department formulates people strategies to support its business partners to meet their business goals and objectives. The department aims to ensure a fit between the people and the overall strategic direction of the Club.
The job holder reports to Deputy Executive Manager, Human Resources (Business Facing) (DEM, HRBF) for Conghua Racecourse (CRC) Grandstand Project in HK and is the HR project resource. S/he will be mainly supporting the DEM, HRBF to coordinate on the SP30 HR workstreams and sub-workstreams that is planned and implemented in HK as well as across all CRC Grandstand Project Segment/BUs and corporate supporting functions.
The Job
- Draft and update HR project management task lists and management dashboard and HR compendium
- Plan, coordinate and execute projects including tracking and reporting on status, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support on the organisation review and organisation design
- Support on the change management
- Consolidate and validate workforce plan with all workstream project coordinators on the CRC Grandstand Raceday and Non-Racedays and keep tracking and stay on top of the evolving changes of the workforce requirement according to project and business assumption changes
- Map out and draft proposal for integrated workforce plan for Raceday workforce and non-raceday workforce
- Project resources and future BAU stage 5-Year Headcount Planning and participate in the project operating model planning exercise, responsible for headcount forecasting exercise.
- Data Analysis and Reporting - where applicable, provide data analysis and reporting, working in partnership with local HR team and headquarter HR business facing and HR Analytics team
- Design or project management for design work through HR CoE team for Raceday / Non-Raceday workforce planning tools, event day staff admission tools, workforce stress test tools, communication materials, etc.
- Consolidate staff roasting information and give input to the rostering system design team, in order the system design fulfil the workforce plan needs.
- Work with HR Reward team, facilitate Reward team to form up integrated model for Raceday and Non-Raceday HK and China workforce compensation and benefit related matters to meet the project timeline.
- Other HR project ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager
About You
- A degree with at least 8 years’ solid experience in HR related field
- Proven experience /knowledge complex HR projects management
- Good capability to work with diverse working level stakeholders in a diverse working culture with cross-functional teams; from senior management to junior staff
- Agile, very quick learner and can operate in an evolving change situation
- Possess good business acumen, exceptional interpersonal and communications skills as well as keenness to take on new challenges and responsibilities
- Possess excellent command in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Excellent excel and PowerPoint skill and able to independently do the analytical work and document drafting for review by the manager
