(Senior) Charities Officer (Admin Support)

The Department

To contribute to the Charities Department in achieving the Club’s vision as the world class charity and community benefactor solving Metropolitan social issues with innovations.

The Job

  • To provide administration and clerical support to the Executive Manager(s) and the team.
  • To assist Managers / Assistant Executives on the preparation of reports and findings, and maintenance of records for the Club's management team.
  • To maintain a repository of documentations for audit purposes, including but not limited to agreements, progress reports, and project publications etc.
  • To work with the team on the implementation of stakeholder engagement, including liaison with industry partners, government, community leaders
  • Support team clerical work, including assisting the Deputy Executive Managers to schedule meetings and handle clerical tasks such as filing, team meeting arrangements, staff onboarding administration, booking venues, bookkeeping, managing project data, budget/financial management, and meeting arrangements

About You

  • Tertiary education with a minimum of 5 years of solid experience in secretarial administrative duties
  • Excellent communication skills (in both English and Chinese) and interpersonal skills High working efficiency
  • Positive, cheerful and have excellent working attitude
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential matters in a professional manner
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office applications and proficiency with PowerPoint
  • Organized, self-motivated, detail-conscious and independent
  • Interested in the work of the Jockey Club Charities Trust

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
