Assistant Facilities Manager (Happy Valley Quarters)

The Division

The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Property Facilities Technical Services, this role plays a key part in managing and delivering high‑quality facility services for the Club’s residential quarters. The job holder supports the overall operation and implementation of key services—including cleaning, security, pest control, landscaping, and customer service—to ensure a safe, well‑maintained, and welcoming living environment.

 

The position leads and supervises both Facilities Services and Technical staff, overseeing daily operations, safety management, service delivery standards, and regulatory compliance at the Happy Valley Quarters. The role also coordinates facilities support programmes, manages budgetary controls, and provides the necessary information and support for club‑wide contracts and reporting requirements.

The Job

  • Plan, implement, and review facility management services at Happy Valley Quarters to ensure a hygienic, safe, and well equipped environment for all residents and users.
  • Lead, manage, and monitor both in house technical teams and soft services teams to deliver high quality services.
  • Ensure optimal deployment of resources and that service delivery meets contractual requirements and service level agreements. 
  • Oversee tenant move in and move out processes, conduct orientations for new tenants, and support site visits for potential tenants. 
  • Review and update periodic reports—including financials, service performance, and tenant movement—and collaborate closely with internal support departments and end users. 
  • Manage annual planning activities such as asset condition reviews, budgeting, and recommendations for capital projects. 
  • Serve as the single point of contact for soft services matters, consolidating and reporting relevant information to the Clubwise team. 
  • Conduct compliance checks on FM business processes and service deliverables to ensure alignment with Club policies, FM governance standards, statutory requirements, and organizational compliance.
  • Five-day work week; may be required to work on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays as operational needs arise.

About You

  • Degree or higher diploma in Facility Management, Property Management, or related disciplines. 
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in property / facility management, with at least 2 years at a managerial level. Experience in managing high-end and large residential complexes/ hotels/ service apartments is an advantage
  • Professional qualifications such as CFM, membership in IFMA, Housing Association, or Tier 1 PMSA are preferred. 
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese. 
  • Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Strong organizing abilities, with proven skills in planning, scheduling, administration, and customer service. 
  • Good knowledge of facility management best practices and industry standards.
  • Hands-on proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
