Assistant Manager, Racecourse Marketing and Entertainment (Racing Tourism)

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.
The Job
- Coordinate with travel and tourism-related statutory organizations (Marketing, Digital & Social Media, Events, Business Development, MICE, Communications, Overseas Offices) to ensure alignment and maximize exposure.
- Support cross-promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive inbound visitors.
- Support itinerary design, experience planning, tours, shooting schedules, venue promotion, post-event exposure, PR and hospitality execution on the familiarization programs for Thailand & overseas KOLs, Media, Trade and related groups.
- Follow up and liaise with potential travel & leisure partners from key attractions, travel industry and sectors.
- Collaborate with the Club’s strategic partners on promotions, attendance-driving initiatives, racedays campaigns, and liaison activities.
- Support the Senior Manager to execute marketing exposure opportunities with OTA platforms.
- Support the Senior Manager to work with transport partners and related initiatives targeting local, mainland, and visitor segments.
- Support Mainland Affairs-related marketing items (e.g., tourist maps).
About You
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 7-10 years of working experience from any industry sector, preferably with exposure to marketing, events, PR, or partnership management.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience in cross-departmental collaboration and external partner engagement.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
