Assistant Owners Engagement and Services Manager (Mainland)

The Division  

The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement.  With Conghua Racecourse and Greater Bay Area expansion, we’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.

 

Job Summary

The job holder reports to Manager, Owners Engagement and Services (Mainland). 
He/She is responsible for:

  • Supporting implementation of the Mainland Membership and Horse Ownership Strategy in Club’s future GBA development
  • Promoting and sustaining the Club’s racing business by conducting racing and horse ownership education, exposure and experience programs to Mainland Members and connections, to groom their interest in racing and convert them to horse owners 
  • Supporting and participating in Mainland Ownership recruitment and business drives, taking care of Mainland Owners’ on-boarding experience and reciprocal use of the Hong Kong facilities; and providing administrative and communication support on overall Mainland Ownership processes and governance. 

 

The Job

  • Provision a one-stop personalized relationship management service and to sustain their interest and commitment in horse ownership.
  • Responsible and oversees for planning, logistics and execution for owners’ activities, hospitality arrangements and major racing-related events at racecourses (including pre-event preparation, onsite coordination and post-event wrap-up).
  • Assist in managing on-boarding experience of our Mainland Owners and Permit holders and administer their reciprocal use of Hong Kong racing and clubhouse facilities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the Mainland Owners development strategy, and targeted communication strategies to enhance owner retention and loyalty.
  • Act as project coordinator for Owners Services initiatives, maintaining master timelines, statue reports and retrospective reviews.
  • Manage Owners inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, coordinate follow-ups and resolution.
  • Undertaking other assignments by Manager, Owners Engagement and Services (Mainland) from time to time.

 

About You

  • A bachelor’s degree holder in Business Administration, Communications, Hospitality Management or other related disciplines.
  • A minimum of  5+ years hands on experience in guest relations and services, event coordinator at high-end business clubs/ 5-star hotel.
  • Strong skills in delivering exceptional customer service and managing customer relationships effectively.
  • Proficiency in overseeing daily operations, ensuring seamless execution of services and activities.
  • Ability to address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Strong PC skills with a focus on Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Fluency in spoken English and Chinese, which includes Cantonese and Putonghua.
  • Knowledgeable on the Club’s core business of horse racing, Membership and Wagering.
