Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Division
The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of user-centered digital application projects across various channels, including mobile apps, websites, and e-commerce platforms. The job holder involves creating and managing graphic assets, translating user requirements into front-end UX/UI designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall user experience. Additionally, the job holder manages external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, participates in scrum teams to maximize the value of sprint deliveries, and assists in user acceptance testing and product launches.
The Job
- Support the delivery of user-centered digital application projects across various channels, including mobile apps, websites, and e-commerce platforms.
- Support and maintain the Club digital design language system
- Create and manage graphic assets for use across multiple media, including mobile apps, web platforms, and social media.
- Translate user requirements into front-end UX/UI designs, including wireframes and interactive prototypes.
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in scrum teams and work closely with development teams to maximize the value of sprint deliveries.
- Conduct user acceptance testing to identify and troubleshoot UI/UX defects.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in the digital industry to enhance customer engagement.
- Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager
About You
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in UIUX Design, Graphics Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia Design, or a related discipline.
- UX Design certification is highly preferable.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the design, development, or operations of customer-centered e-Commerce sites, web portals, or mobile apps.
