Carpark Assistant

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this job is to responsible for day-to-day duties and customer services at HKJC carparks to ensure a safe and delight car parking experience for the club staff, club members and public customers in both race days and non-race day. 

Ensuring the carpark facilities and infrastructure are functional, safe and meeting with the club operation direction. 

The Job

You will:

• Operate the car park system and control the entrance/ exit point
• Direct traffic and guide car park users to the appropriate parking location
• Patrol the car park and report irregular matters. (Include malfunction of equipment and facilities defects)
• Handle customer enquiries and report to the supervisor
• Handle customer complaints and requests promptly and efficiently and report the case to daily log
• Set up traffic signs/ cones/ instructions to meet the operational needs
• Assist on collecting and consolidating parking data from parking system
• Assist on daily administration and clerical work
• Assist to report and follow up all incidents happened in carpark areas
• Perform shift duties (06:30 – 15:30 / 09:00 - 18:00 / 15:30 – 00:30) and race meetings

About You

You should have:

• Form 5 / HKDSE graduated or above
• At least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably gained in property management
• Pro-active and customer oriented with good interpersonal skills and good communication skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Hands-on experience of MS Office applications
• Possession of valid HKSAR Driving Licence (code 1, 2) will be an advantage
• Possession of valid Security Personnel Permit (SPP) will be an advantage
• Required to wear uniforms and perform shift duties on irregular patterns of hours (required working on Public Holidays, Saturday and Sunday)
