The Division
The Finance Division is a key business partner, balancing oversight with support. With uncompromising integrity at its core, the division works proactively and collaboratively to deliver insights, enable solutions, and drive financial stewardship, contributing to the Club’s sustainable growth, operational excellence, and long-term success.
The Department
Our Finance Department is responsible for providing financial analysis, planning, control and accounting services to the key business units within the Club. With the Club developing its business to meet new customer needs, Finance is playing an expanded and increasingly proactive role.
The Job
- Ensure project investment is aligned with the Club’s guidelines and directions with focus on IT capital & operating expenditure.
- Key manager to lead and provide guidance to the Finance and the project teams in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analysis and forecasting in the IT aspect of the Project. Work very closely with the Project Team and be accountable for all reports, forecast and analysis. Monitor business and financial performance with the project team.
- Evaluate, review, monitor and provide value-added analysis and recommendation to support and influence key stakeholders in business decisions relating to IT investment on capital expenditure proposals ensuring the investment aligned with the project goals. Investment is financially sound, monitored properly, and risks are mitigated. This includes the identification of potential savings to optimise return on investment or minimise costs.
- Assist operations to ensure resources are rightfully allocated. Act as a catalyst and assist project team on continuous cost monitoring and spending according to original Project objective.
- Provide financial support to ensure proper implementation and governance of the CAPEX/OPEX per planned
- Ensure proper authorization of operational spending and capital spending in accordance with the Club’s authorization level, process and policies. Evaluate major Project operation expenditures and capital spending, in terms of financial costs and benefits analysis; in-depth scenario analysis; provide financial support in procurement process and ensure proper cost control up to Project completion.
- Take the lead in driving continuous process improvement to simplify, standardize and automate processes/reports.
- Manage and coach the team and individual team members to achieve KPI/objectives and individual performance.
About You
- Degree in accounting or related disciplines, with recognized professional qualification in accounting, finance or relevant fields
- At least 15 years of professional experience in finance / accounting industry with in-depth knowledge of financial planning & analysis and best practices with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Solid financial management experience in major projects / operations, financial planning, modelling, management and control. Preferably with some experience in business operations, project management or procurement in a sizable IT organization
- Preferably individuals would have experience in a medium to large sized organisation and preferably with IT background and Saas Cloud knowledge with large scale system development and implementation
- Independent mind, self-motivation with mature business acumen
- Strong leadership with people and change management skills
- Excellent communication and report writing skills in English and Chinese
