Manager, Charities (Healthy Community) (Projects)
The Job
- Support Senior Manager to ensure effective execution of the project, including but not limited to implementation of all the required project governance and controls, preparation of reports, and maintenance of records for the Club's management team and Charities' Trust's review.
- Develop the project plan including the tasks, deliverables, schedules and resources required, and maintain a repository of documentations for project governance and audit purposes, including but not limited to funding proposals, agreements, progress reports, meeting minutes, and project publications etc.
- Monitor the delivery and effectiveness of the project's activities to ensure that they are in line with the project objectives and timelines, and work closely with external project partners to ensure deliverables are in accordance with specifications, schedules and expectations.
- Plan and monitor matters related to finance (budget monitoring), purchasing and supplies functions (e.g., handling procurement and coordinating contracts and milestone payments to related vendors).
- Work with Senior Manager to design and implement stakeholder engagement and publicity strategies, including liaison with industry partners, government, community leaders, and to promote the project to general public.
- Perform other grant-making functions under the prioritised issue "Healthy Community" such as assessing donation applications' merits, budget and impact, liaising with project partners and drafting approval papers.
- Conduct research on social issues and community needs related to the prioritised issue "Healthy Community" such as literature review, policy analysis, data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to junior member(s) of the Project Team concerning effective implementation, mitigation of risks, internal and external communication in particular.
- Carry out other duties as directed by management.
About You
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in the field of social sciences, social work or health-related disciplines
- A minimum of 6 years' relevant experience, preferably with exposure to NGOs,
government, policy research, public or social service settings - Prior experiences in project management and/or employment-related services
will be a plus - Strong ability to interface with people with various functions and levels
- Strong project management skills
- Commitment in diversity and inclusion
- Passion, strong drive and career interest in charity work
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
- Knowledge on government policies and insights on community service needs,
particularly rehabilitation and services for persons with disabilities will be an
advantage
