Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division - Membership & Customer Excellence (MCE)
The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.
The Job
The Manager, Business Strategy & Execution supports the development and execution of strategic priorities across the Membership & Customer Excellence (MCE) division, with a focus on strengthening the membership proposition, enhancing customer outcomes, and driving sustainable business growth.
The role analyses business, customer and market insights to identify opportunities, develop recommendations and support business planning. Partnering with business units, the role supports divisional strategic priorities and helps deliver business and customer outcomes through strong analytical capability, commercial thinking and stakeholder engagement.
Major Tasks:
Business Outcomes & Growth
- Partner with business units to identify opportunities that strengthen member value, customer outcomes and business performance.
- Assess and prioritise improvement opportunities based on business impact and strategic alignment.
- Contribute to the development of business cases and strategic proposals.
- Support business units in implementing improvement initiatives and evaluating outcomes.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support the development and execution of MCE's strategic priorities and business plans.
- Partner with business units to translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to the adoption of new ways of working that improve business performance.
- Monitor progress on strategic priorities and highlight emerging areas requiring attention.
Business Insights
- Analyse business, customer and market insights to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Develop reports, presentations and insights to support leadership decision-making.
- Support the development of business cases, recommendations and improvement initiatives.
- Translate data and insights into actionable business recommendations.
Stakeholder Management
- Build effective relationships across MCE and support functions.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support alignment on strategic priorities and business objectives
- Facilitate discussions and support resolution of business challenges and competing priorities.
Undertake other duties as assigned by Senior Manager, MCE Business Strategy & Execution

About You
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Strategy, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in business strategy, business planning, performance management, consulting, business transformation or related functions.
- Experience working across multiple stakeholder groups and functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to interpret complex information.
- Experience preparing business cases, management reports and executive presentations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in data analysis and business reporting tools is an advantage.
