Manager, Strategic Racing Marketing

Job Summary

The job holder reports to Deputy Executive Manager. He/she is responsible for drafting strategies and monitoring performance for Racing Marketing and beyond, via working closely with line manager and peers across teams.

The Job

  • Develop strategies basing on consumer insights and understanding of the road to success. Well understand strategic models e.g. marketing funnel, Go-to-market toolkit, customer journey. Able to turn insights and strategy into compelling storytelling and consumer value. Create actionable strategic framework.
  • Create consumer facing message house for the team to design marketing communication. Able to integrate campaign objective, thematic creative assets, on-ground activations with customer segments.
  • Prepare the monthly reports for Racing Marketing team by closely working with peers across the teams, and external agencies. Review the reports and provide insights for the team to enhance performance.
  • Be alert to Gen Y and Z latest trends on media behaviours, attitudes and entertainments and form the insights on engaging them as our next generation of racing fans. Building awareness, interest and preference for the Club through 360 marketing strategies and activations.
  • Monitor industry highlights from sports, entertainment and lifestyle to provide insights and ideas for the team to enhance their planning and executions.
  • Build influence among Racing Marketing teams through effective communication, partnership and provocation, ability to engage and influence decision-making.
  • Partner across internal and external partners at all levels to put a deep understanding of our customers and operations in the Club. Collaborate with Consumer Insights and Business Planning teams to help identify opportunities for the team to improve performance and translate into positive business outcomes.
  • Contribute insights to the Sponsors Strategy to further elevate the Club’s position in the market.    

About You

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines
  • A Minimum of 10 years in Marketing, promotion, brand building, media planning
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Consumer oriented and strong marketing insight
  • Strong planning and implementation skills
