Manager, UIUX Design

The Department

Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division curates exceptional lifestyle and culinary experiences for Members and defines the Club’s membership strategy and end-to-end customer experience for all customers. It harmonises journeys across segments and touchpoints—digital channels, racecourses, clubhouses, retail and Telebet—through a unified experience blueprint and clear governance. MCE also leads data strategy and governance, integrating Club-wide data into a single customer view to enable coordinated, personalised and responsible experiences online and offline.

 

As part of MCE, the Digital Experience & Innovation (DEI) department provides the vision and stewardship for the Club’s end-to-end digital journeys. DEI ensures experiences are cohesive across web, mobile apps, mini-programmes and kiosks, and are seamlessly connected with on-course and clubhouse moments to create true O2O journeys and to enhance the enjoyment of sports entertainment by making discovery, participation and follow-along moments simpler, more personalised and more immersive.

 

The job holder reports to Senior Manager, UIUX Design.

 

The Job

You will:

  • Supports Deputy Executive Manager, Digital Experience in delivering user-centred digital application projects across the Club’s range of digital channels, including mobile app, website, e-commerce and cross-media platforms
  • Provides support to DEM & collaborate with other designers develop unified design and style guide documentation for the Club’s digital assets
  • Devises desirable front-end UX/UI and feasible solutions, based on EDMCE, HoDEI’s + DEI’s executives’ direction, input from business users, customer behaviour research, customer feedback and wagering product teams; conveys design-thinking into visualisable plan including information architecture, wireframe and interactive prototype / mockups
  • Participates in various product development activities, including user research, needs finding research, conceptual validation, UX/UI design, usability testing and user acceptance test
  • Delivers innovative UX/UI design for the Club’s digital applications and services; manage and liaises with PO and external vendor on design requirements, specifications, timeline, costing, development, testing and related deliverables
  • Creates and manages artwork / graphic assets for use in all medium including mobile app, web / online, social media platform, video and display
  • Make data-driven decisions by defining success metrics up front, instrumenting features, and using analytics to prioritise, iterate and deprecate
  • Assesses and analyses usage behaviour and customer experience, and translates findings into actionable improvements plan; stays abreast of current trends and best practices in digital industry and technology options; consistently brings in new ideas to increase customer engagement
  • Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager

 

About You

You should have:

  • Bachelor degree or above in UIUX Design, Digital Product Design, Interactive Design, Multimedia Design, or other relevant disciplines
  • A minimum of 8 years’ working experience in creative and mobile app design
  • Solid experience of UX/UI, interaction and visual design with a strong understanding of user centred design
  • Solid understanding of customer behaviour on mobile app and website and ability to translate findings into actionable UX/UI improvements plan
  • Relevant experience within an agile team on digital products implementation is an advantage
  • Project management skills with PMP certification being highly preferred.
