Manager/ Assistant manager, Charities (IoP Programme Development)
The Department
To contribute to the Institute of Philanthropy in achieving the Club and its Charities Trust’s vision as the world class charity and community benefactor through demonstrating our philanthropic thought leadership and enhancing our presence both nationally, regionally and overseas.
The Job
- To support Assistant Executives on initiating, developing and managing programmes and projects under the IoP Programme Development and Management Team;
- To support Assistant Executives to collaborate with fellow philanthropic foundations to produce and execute seminars, events and/or side programmes at major regional and international fora / multi-lateral platforms to enhance the presence of the Institute of Philanthropy (IoP);
- To support Assistant Executive to coordinate and maintain day-to-day communications with fellow philanthropic foundations, multi-lateral organisations, and current and potential grantees and partners to enhance the regional and international presence of IoP;
- To support Assistant Executives to collaborate with the IoP PBC & Event Team to create contents (e.g. articles, videos, photos, infographics, polling, animations, UGC, etc.);
- To work with the Club and external partners at various levels to leverage their expertise, assets and platforms to create highly engaging seminars, events and/or side programmes at major regional and international fora / multi-lateral platforms; and build synergy through close collaboration; and
- Support the team on other duties and projects, as assigned by the supervisor.
About You
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5-8 years’ relevant experience, preferably with exposure to event production, creative and content development and other relevant sectors
- Good communication skills and language proficiency (both English and Chinese)
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Passions, strong drive and career interest in charity work
- Candidates with lesser experience may be considered for Assistant Charities Manager
- Project development and management skills
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
