Marketing Officer (Racecourse Entertainment and Programming)

Job Summary

The job holder reports to Executive Manager, Racecourse Marketing & Entertainment. He/she is assisting the team to drive the strategy per racecourse during race days.

 

He/she will be executing both the entertainment programs for Race days and the entertainment experience for each racecourse follovling the consumer journey definition. 

 

This person will have a strong expertise on consumer's insights, understanding their behaviours, usage and occasions of entertainment.

 

The main objective of his/her team is to develop the entertainment per racecourse to ensure consumer immersion, he or she will elaborate creative thematic per racecourse, per Group Sundays Racedays per Major Race days and rethink the Happy Wednesday entertainment programs including F&B field.

The Job

  • Support the supervisor to elaborate and execute the entertainment programing per racecourse and TA in order to promote the racecourse as a lifestyle entertainment destination
  • Elaborate and execute the entertainment lifestyle programming per racecourse and major race days. This person will have the basic knowledge of Music Programming, F&B offerings and any creative entertainment targeting the Gen Z & Y
  • Execute with his/her EM and supervisor the entertainment & lifestyle programming following 4 fields: Recreation & Music Entertainment, Lifestyle & culinary experience, gamification and Experimental Pop-up stores.
  • Collaborate closely with Visual Merchandising & Marcom Teams under RME, but also cross the department of Racing Marketing.
  • Adapt entertainment programming to fit the creative thematic for Happy Wednesday concept and Calendar and efficiently manage the administrative tasks on behalf of the team.

About You

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years in Entertainment, promotion, Music Industry, Event planning
  • Experience in event marketing in HK and overseas

  • Demonstrated successful history of lifestyle media and marketing/ event planning for multiple
    generational consumers' aoquisHion and retention
  • Operational expertise in loyalty programming from planning to execution
  • Evidence of deploying innovative catering and Food & Beverage experiences that have increased brand loyalty
  • Exhibited understanding of millennial and Generation Z behaviours through previous project work
  • Understanding of marketplace data and engagement schemes, along with immersive/activalion programming
  • Well connection towards the Influencer Neti.vork in HK and global China social Network
  • Good command in both written and spoken English
  • Excellent lnterpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Consumer oriented and strong marketlng insight
  • Strong planning and implementation skills
  • Allention to details
