The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Corporate Affairs (CA) Division strengthens the strategic development and positioning of the Club as a world-class racing club and charity organisation, through engaging key stakeholders in both Hong Kong and the Mainland, and maintaining efficient and effective corporate communications.

An exciting opportunity for a super creative multimedia design expert with comprehensive experience in conceptualising, designing, editing, post-producing, and using Gen AI tools to create powerful audio-visual content and motion graphics in various formats primarily for the digital channels including social media, websites and mobile applications.
Reporting to Senior Manager, you will work closely with the Creative Services team to elevate the Club’s in-house capabilities and ability to produce powerful short-form and longer-form AV content that resonates and engages especially younger Gen Y and Gen Z audiences.
The role will cover a broad range of content types and topics including horse racing, charities and community, entertainment, F&B, etc.
The Job
- Creative – Conceptualise content ideas and produce multimedia content in various formats including but not limited to elevate The Hong Kong Jockey Club brand in digital and traditional media such as social media, web, mobile applications, digital billboards etc.
- Gen AI Leadership – Serve as a subject matter expert in the field of Gen AI tools; stay ahead of the latest developments and trends, and share best practices in the field with the wider team. Leverage the tools to drive innovation, and enhance the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of multimedia content creation, including animation, video editing, voiceovers, automated transcription and subtitling, and other relevant applications.
- Art Direction – Work with the Creative Studio team standardise and enhance key elements of our corporate brand and other child brands in line with the overarching brand guidelines.
- Production – Develop storyboards, style frames, editing rhythm and multiple design explorations as needed for conceptualising and communicating ideas to collaborators and stakeholders. Produce compelling short-form and longer-form content that resonates and engages younger Gen Y and Gen Z audiences.
- Communication – Develop strong relationships with internal peers, cross-functional teams and vendors to understand project requirements, and provide expert creative input to ensure that our multimedia design solutions meet our clients’ business objectives.
- Project Management – Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring top quality of deliverables, work independently and manage projects end-to-end, from concept to delivery, ensuring that all design projects are completed on time and within agreed scope.
- Collaboration – Work closely with all members of the Creative Studio; provide regular, constructive feedback, and share industry best practices to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the team’s capabilities.
- Industry Knowledge – Stay informed about industry trends, design tools and generative AI technologies in visual, video, motion design and sound editing to bring innovative ideas and techniques to our projects.
About You
- 8+ years of experience in multimedia design incl. video editing and postproduction, motion graphics field, animations, sound editing, etc. in leading design agencies, media or broadcast companies, or other relevant organisations; preferably with experiences in a team lead role
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Diploma/Degree in Motion Design, Visual Communication or Multimedia & Animation related disciplines
- Highly proficient in industry-standard motion graphics software, such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D as well as Adobe CC software
- Working knowledge of toolkits / plug-in such as Redshift, X-particles, Trapcode as well as other latest Gen AI tools
- Exceptional art sense in graphic design and sensitive to speed and rhythm editing for storytelling through motion
- Outstanding creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring innovative ideas to the table
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and discuss design concepts with team members and stakeholders
- Experience in branding design, entertainment, interactive media and sport advantageous
- Proficient in spoken and written Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English
