Officer, Racing Digitalisation

The Division

The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement.  With Conghua Racecourse and Greater Bay Area expansion, we’re shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.

 

The Job

  • Provide professional administrative and secretarial support to Executive Manager, Racing Digitalization and liaise with internal stakeholders to support the delivery of Digitalization projects
  • Assist in translating business needs into reporting / requirements to support executive decision and workflows with required information
  • Coordinate assigned projects including scope management, schedule and timelines. Work with assigned work streams on implementation planning, related documentations and PowerPoint Presentations
  • Acts as a focal point between internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication flow
  • Organize in-person and virtual business meetings and bookings for Executive Manager, Racing Digitalization ; co-ordinate enquiries and correspondence
  • Provide administrative assistance for the preparation of documents such as reports, meeting papers, agendas and meeting minutes including filing and maintenance of records
  • Provide administrative assistance for presentations as requested by Executive Manager, Racing Digitalization, including for internal meetings and external conferences
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives
  • Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems
  • Take the lead in creating Racing Digitalization and Project presentations for delivery to customers and project team members
  • Undertaking any other duties assigned by Executive Manager, Racing Digitalization

 

About You

  • Tertiary education or above in Business Studies, Office Administration and related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience assisting senior management level in a sizable organization
  • Project coordinator experience will be a plus. Candidate may be asked to participate as a project coordinator and document project meetings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese, Putonghua knowledge would be an advantage
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn and adapt to new software
  • Competent in handling multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications
