Racing Product Officer (1-Year Contract)

Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.

The Division

The Racing Division is committed to managing all aspects of Hong Kong’s world-class sport of horse racing, covering the full value chain — from importation and training to racedays, equestrian, welfare, integrity, and international engagement.  We're shaping racing into a dynamic sporting, social, and entertainment experience.

The Job

• Proofread simulcast form guide contents including race information, horse details and past performance record;
• Assist in data collection and system input;
• Support in compiling simulcast form guides using in-house developed systems;
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by management.

About You

• Tertiary education or higher diploma in a relevant field such as Business Administration or Computer Science or related discipline
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Hands-on computer skill in MS Word, Excel and Adobe InDesign;
• Ability to work on non-office working hours and Public Holidays
• Knowledge in horse racing will be an advantage;
• Ability to work independently and as a team with high personal effectiveness;
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Officer.
