Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. Through this model, the Club generates economic and social value for the community and supports the HKSAR Government in combatting illegal gambling.
The Division
The Charities and Community (C&C) Division manages strategic planning, grant donations, impactful project initiation, community engagement, and the day-to-day operations of the HKJC Charities Trust. C&C works with the Government, NGOs, and community partners to proactively identify root causes of social issues and address them through innovative approaches and cross-sectoral collaboration.
The Department
The Job
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to department heads and teams.
- Prioritize and arrange internal and external meetings, travel schedules, and bookings for executives.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, assessing its importance and forwarding as necessary.
- Compile and prepare various documents, including reports, meeting papers, agendas, and presentations.
- Assist in preparing and monitoring departmental budgets and expenses.
- Organize meetings, conferences, and workshops, and prepare agendas and minutes.
About You
- Degree holder or tertiary education in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related disciplines preferred.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in operations, administration, or secretarial support, preferably in sizable organizations.
