Senior Design Officer
The Department
Our Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.
Property Project Management responsible for managing capital work building projects and associated works. These include all MEP/Builder/E&M works associated with Fit-out, new build and alteration & addition (A&A) works under the portfolio of the Club, includes undertaking works on the renovation projects from inception to completion stage; co-ordinates external consultants and supervises contractors, Workplace Transformation, amongst others to ensure that such works are carried out according to user specifications, programmes, budgets, quality and safety requirements.
The Job
You will:
- work independently and efficiently for alterations/additions and renovation projects involving interior and architectural design from project inception to handover
- liaise and co-ordinate with external consultants and contractors, as well as service providers and internal working team / internal users for the above works
- prepare and produce design drawings and details by using industrial standard and best practices
- coordinate to maintain up-to-date architectural and building services layout plans, control documents and drawings registry
- review consultant/contractor submissions and comment
- assist in tendering process
- ensure compliance with the corporate’s guidelines and statutory requirement for capital works projects, minor renovations and furniture reconfiguration, etc.
- perform such other duties as assigned by Executive Manager, Properyty Design Management or her delegates
About You
You should have:
- a higher diploma/ degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related discipline
- at least 5 years relevant experience in high end hotels, membership club, retail and F&B projects
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Sketch Up, Enscape, conversant with Naviswork and Adobe Photoshop will be an advantage
- knowledge of relevant government regulations & statutory requirements
- good communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Chinese
- self-driven and independent with good interpersonal skills
