Senior Event Officer

The Department

The Customer Strategy, Insights, and Innovation (CSII) Division is dedicated to cultivating customer-centric capabilities across the Club ecosystem and shaping customer strategies that drive business growth. Through a data-driven approach, the Division strives to achieve a 360-degree understanding and insights of owners, members and wagering customers, enabling the seamless design of end-to-end customer experiences across online and offline channels (Racecourses and Off-course Betting Branches). This is achieved by integrating Clubwide customer data onto a unified platform, creating a single view of our customers that empowers us to deliver personalised offers and unique experiences.

 

The job holder reports to Manager, Customer Growth and Experience (Public) and is responsible for formulating and implementing both on/off-course events to groom and enagage target customers. S/he is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events that enhance the Club's image and improve customer experience across various stakeholder groups. The job holder involves assisting with event operations, managing vendor relationships, and supporting engagement activities. Additionally, the job holder will handle budget-related tasks, provide administrative support, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events and effective communication. S/he also has to coordinate with functional teams to ensure the delivery of excellenet and engaging customer experiences.

The Job

You will:

  • Assist the event manager to design and execute the personalised customer experience to deliver a holistic customer wagering journey.
  • Act as a venue / event in-charge of assigned public venues / online or offline events.
  • Support preparation and operation of events, managing budgets and handling finance-related tasks, including invoices and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver an exceptional customer experience and ensure smooth event execution.
  • Work in racecourses on weekends, public holidays and at nighttime during race meetings and pre-race day events.
  • Work closely with catering, customer service, all respective channels, and other stakeholders to prepare and delvier the best customer expeirence and reach the business goal / KPI.
  • Plan, execute, monitor and evaluate marketing promotion of assigned events.
  • Be responsible to track and evaluate the effectiveness of asssigned campaigns.
  • Handle administration systems and arrange logistics for the team.
  • Work as a part of the effective and highly motivated team in delivering the Club's business objectives and results.
  • Ensure compliance with the Responsible Gamling Policy and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club's businesses.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned by Line Manager.

About You

You should have:

  • Bachelor degree or above, preferably in marketing, event & function industry, or business discipline.
  • A minimum of 1-5 years of experience in customer management, digital marketing, event management, or related fields, preferably within consumer-focused industries.
  • Experience in digital marketing communications and social media promotion.
  • Digital savvy and experience in young customer event experience management is a definite advantage.
  • Proven experience in event management and knowledge of interactive customer experience.

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
