The Division
The Finance Division is a key business partner, balancing oversight with support. The Job
- Be responsible for demand planning of Hospitality, Recreation, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco related sub categories across the entire business and ensure Procurement’s early involvement, e.g. Conduct demand planning on a regular basis for the sub categories within the non food cluster, drive actions associated with spend analysis and ensure appropriate category knowledge and data are maintained, incorporated into the strategies
- Develop and implement sub category plans within non food cluster which ensures supply availability, meets quality standards, and delivers best value to the Club, e.g. Identify potential targets for opportunity improvements and deliver year-on-year benefits for hospitality, recreation, beverages and tobacco
- Monitor market intelligence and sourcing opportunities to ensure the Club's future growth needs are supported, e.g. Monitor the market constantly and search out new goods, services and the latest technology most compatible with user requirements and Club standard
- Lead the sub-category team to execute strategic initiatives /supplier strategies (sourcing / tendering, etc.), e.g. Formulate appropriate procurement strategies for major purchases and conduct regular reviews with budget holders
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships that make the Club a customer of choice, e.g. Develop and manage strategic relationships with an optimum number of suppliers
- Ensure reliability of supply chain, e.g. Develop market intelligence on existing and potential suppliers
About You
- A degree with professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related disciplines
- Minimum 10-12 years of procurement experience
- Experience in Hospitality and F&B industry is preferred
- Prior exposure in global corporation, NGO, public and/or cultural sector would be advantageous
- Extensive expertise at a strategic level with a strong track record of success in delivering operational efficiency and financial savings
- Previous experience of conducting business process re-engineering and proven record of successful change management
- Strong history in people management, development and capacity building
- Strong analytical mind with strong business acumen and problem solving skill
- Strong knowledge of category management in one or more of the categories including but not limited to Arts and Heritage
- Strong negotiation skills; self-motivated with mature business acumen
- Possess high level of integrity, work ethics and good moral values
- Experience of e-Procurement system development and operation
- An independent thinker, with strong planning and implementation skills and ability to drive change, manage and engage a diverse group of stakeholders under pressure
