Senior Manager, Strategic Procurement (Property Construction) (2-year contract)
Job Summary
The Job
1. Implement a high-performing strategic procurement and category management that delivers best value for the Club's SP30 Project spend:

Support the development and implementation of world-class procurement and category management strategies;

Utilize best-practice strategic procurement and category management approaches
2. Ensure Club's future growth needs are supported:
-
Develop sourcing strategies and identify new market trends to expand/consolidate current supply base to support future needs
-
Manage supplier portfolio to ensure required capabilities are in place and an appropriate balance between collaboration and competition is achieved
3. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships that make the Club a customer of choice:
-
Develop and manage strategic relationship with an optimum number of preferred category of suppliers and consultants
-
Introduce key performance measures for selected supply categories and assessment tools to measure continuous improvement
4. Ensure reliability of supplier sourcing and supply chain:
-
Develop market intelligence on existing and potential suppliers;

Source and prequalify suppliers in liaison with Business/Users, Technical Departments and CRC Procurement team;

Maintain a database of competent and qualified Suppliers;
5. Manage assigned SP30 procurement demand within PRC PCE portfolio categories across all functions:

Conduct demand planning review (in conjunction with his/her direct report), categorize spends and ensure appropriate category knowledge and data is maintained, incorporated into the strategies, and shared;

Regularly update internal stakeholders in a structured format the updated category and procurement strategies to reflect changes in the Club's needs, industry, business environment and/or other factors;
6. Ensure the strategic procurement and category management operations are transparent and auditable:
- Ensure strategies are aligned with published governance levels
- Ensure fulfilment of compliance requirements
About You
- Degree holder with professional qualification in Procurement from recognized institute (e.g. CIPS or equivalent)

Minimum 10-12 years' experience

Technical Expertise (breadth and depth) in portfolio/specialist areas (Procurement and/or Construction)

Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement
-
Solid Project Management experience
