Treasury Analyst (1-year Contract)

The Department

Our Treasury Department is responsible for the Club's comprehensive treasury functions, encompassing treasury operations, payment settlements and cash & liquidity management, which includes money market dealing and trading. In addition to these core duties, we are committed to driving comprehensive process improvements through data analytics and innovation. To support the Club’s expanding activities and departmental strategic transformation, we are now looking for talented candidates to join the team. Successful candidates will play a key role in delivering critical projects and supporting BAU activities.

The Job

You will:

• collaborate with team members in Treasury to utilize market and operational data for predictive modelling and analysis
• provide support in the design, management and optimization of end-to-end data processing, which includes data intake, validation, mining, modelling as well as visualization
• analyze data sets to identify opportunities for workflow enhancement and automation, increasing Treasury operational efficiency
• assist in the data visualization projects to migrate the management reports to a visual analytics platform, enabling real-time, insightful and data-driven reporting for management
• participate in the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce manual errors and improve process efficiency
• engage in the Treasury System regular updates and maintenance to ensure system stability, and access to the latest features
• perform BAU tasks for Treasury
• complete ad-hoc analytical and project-based tasks as directed by supervisors
• participate in cross border remittance/ capital injection transactions analysis
• prepare data analytic projects for reporting in PRC subsidiaries

About You

You should have:

• a degree or recognized qualifications in Finance, Business Analytics, FinTech, Computer Science or related disciplines
• 1-3 year(s)’ relevant working experience is preferred (Fresh graduates will also be considered)
• familiarity in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus
• exposure to advanced Excel, VBA, Python, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools or Power Automate is preferred
• knowledge in banking, finance or treasury is also an advantage
