維修技術員 (跑馬地會所) Maintenance Technician (Happy Valley Club House)
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for repairs and maintenance of the building (including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building works), regular inspections, identifies potential problems, and implements preventive maintenance measures to ensure the properties are in optimal conditions and efficiency of work.
Major Tasks
- Responsible for all daily repairs and maintenance works assigned in full respect of health and safety procedures, ensuring quality and efficiency of work.
- Retrieve and complete work orders in accordance with the Club's and departmental policies and procedures, as well as aligning with statutory compliance.
- Report any discrepancies, unresolved problems, or newly observed engineering issues immediately to superiors.
- Obtain all necessary information, documentation, and instructions to ensure a full understanding of the work to be performed efficiently.
- Implement preventive maintenance for equipment and facilities, ensuring suitable tools and materials are available.
- Monitor and report on the work performed by vendors and contractors to ensure compliance with the Club's requirements.
- Understand that additional duties may be assigned by senior staff to meet operational needs, including in-depth repairs and maintenance, and be able to read and understand relevant technical publications.
- Abide by all occupational health and safety regulations, practices, rules, and procedures.
- Required to wear a uniform and perform race day duties.
Education
Qualifications
- Apprenticeship or certificate in an engineering trade (Mechanic, Electrical, Electronics, Plant Mechanic, Civil Work).
- Holder of Registered Electrical Worker License (Grade A or above).
