Founded in 1884, The Hong Kong Jockey Club (“the Club”) is a world-class racing club that acts continuously for the betterment of our society. The Club has a unique integrated business model, comprising racing and racecourse entertainment, a membership club, responsible sports wagering and lottery, and charities and community contribution. The Division - Membership & Customer Excellence (MCE) 有關部門

The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club’s customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.

The Department 有關部門

Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.

The Job 職責內容

• Greet customers, present bar menu, answer all related inquires, respond to customers’ requests promptly in a polite and professional fashion, make recommendation, upsell items and inform them about new beverages and specials, take food and drink orders (from serving staff or directly from customers) and record orders accurately into register system – ensuring extreme attention is paid to details.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, and ensure food is served at the correct temperature (e.g. hot dishes are hot); work closely with related staff on matters pertaining to wine and cocktail service.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard, or mix and garnish cocktails based on standard recipes and serve beverages to customers.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations; check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age in case of queries.
• Maintain a clear work and dining area by removing trash, clean tables and wash glasses, utensils and equipment keep sanitary environment at high standard.
• Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
• Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drink.
• Prepare and serve appetisers, snacks, or other food items for customers at the bar.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Take inventory of liquor, wine, beer, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware and other accessories, and order supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Perform any other related duties as and when assigned supervisor.
• Promoting unique products or services such that Members and guests recognise that our offerings are worth recommending to their peers.

About You 入職要求

• At least 1 year’s relevant experience gained in hotels, clubhouses, or premium restaurants
• Fluent in English. Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
• Working knowledge of standard drink recipes, spirits, wine and beer
• Understanding of classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments
• Working knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations
• Ability to keep the bar clean and stocked
• Ability to stand, walk and bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 10 kgs.
