Job Summary

(Purpose)

The primary objective of Data Analytics & Integrated Reporting (DAIR) is to raise awareness and communicate the Club's and the Trust's unwavering commitment to societal betterment through purpose-driven initiatives, actions, and contributions. This involves crafting a cohesive and comprehensive representation of the Club's and the Trust's mission, strategic plans, initiatives, performance, and the value and impact created through their unique integrated business model, strategic priorities, and social innovation.

(Function)

DAIR is dedicated to overseeing the corporate reporting function, data review and verification, value contribution and creation assessment, and social impact measurement and analytics for the club'st. Its goal is to ensure precise, transparent, and timely communication of the Club's and the Trust's business, social, and environmental performance, as well as their social contributions and impact.

(Scope)

Integrated Reporting (IR) - it covers the planning, development, management and delivery of reports and  undertakes initiatives/ actions to support the development of these publications/ projects

Data Analytics (DA) - it covers the development, implementation and delivery of analysis and undertakes initiatives/ actions to support the delivery of these projects/ publications

To lead subordinates in performing the following major tasks within the abovementioned scope of IR.

Major Tasks

• To assist in leading the development of the publication plan (timelines, milestones and resource allocation), report structure and content
• To lead Projects with reviewed environmental dataset, findings and recommendations.
• To lead the development of the content (including the related dataset for third-party verification) for the HKJC Environmental Report.
• To drive data consolidation, analysis and verification duties that support various reporting initiatives to ensure data quality.
• To lead the development of the publication plan (timelines, milestones and resource allocation) and the proposing of the report methodology (reporting scope, metrics and disclosure requirements), framework and structure for the HKJC new Sustainability Report.
• To lead the development of the Environmental Sustainability Chapter according to the plan and requirements of the HKJC Annual Report led by Corporate Affairs Division.
• To assist in leading the external consultant for the development and validation of the HKJC Integrated Reporting Framework to articulate the value creation by the Club's unique integrated business model.
• To collaborate with the Impact Measurement and Reporting team in establishing practical methodology, and formulating the data and system requirements that effectively capture and showcase the value and social impact created by the Club and the Trust.
• To collaborate with the Division in ensuring alignment with Club-wide publications and writing standards.
