The Division

The Finance Division is a key business partner, balancing oversight with support. The Department

The Finance Department plays a key role in supporting the Club’s business operations through robust financial management, reporting, planning and control. Working closely with business units and corporate functions, the department provides financial insights, accounting expertise and governance support to enable effective decision-making, strengthen financial discipline and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.

Job Summary

The purpose of the Corporate Accounting team is to ensure a high and consistent standard of statutory accounting and reporting for the Group with direct responsibility for the club'sidiaries in Hong Kong as well as the Trust.

Reporting to the Deputy Executive Manager, Finance, the incumbent supports the Corporate Accounting team in achieving its functional objectives.

The Job

  • Be part of the Corporate Accounting team, providing financial accounting services to business units, including accounting advisory, general ledger accounting, period-end book closing, financial reporting, account reconciliation and analytical review.
  • Support new businesses, business initiatives and partnerships by advising on appropriate accounting treatment, developing accounting procedures and enhancing system workflows to meet statutory reporting requirements.
  • Independently handle the full sets of accounts for assigned companies, including profits tax computation and filing, preparation of statutory financial statements, monthly management accounts and related financial reports, while supervising the accounting work of other entities as required.
  • Drive process improvements and support system enhancement projects, including requirements review, user acceptance testing and implementation of accounting-related controls and workflows.
  • Support the preparation of entity-level and Group statutory financial statements, and coordinate the preparation of the Club’s Annual Report under tight reporting timelines.
  • Keep abreast of developments in financial reporting standards, profits tax rules and relevant interpretation guidance, and conduct job-related research where necessary.
  • Prepare monthly reports and variance analyses to support financial review from a corporate accounting perspective.

About You

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, together with a recognised professional accounting qualification.
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience in auditing, financial accounting, statutory reporting and general ledger operations.
  • Sound knowledge of Hong Kong and international financial reporting standards, with solid practical experience in applying them to Hong Kong and Mainland China entities.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle General Ledger or other enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Strong initiative, analytical thinking, business acumen and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
