Manager/Assistant Manager/ Senior Officer, Charities (IoP Strategic Communications)

Job Summary

In order to enhance the global presence of the Institute of Philanthropy (IoP) in the increasingly competitive space for philanthropic thought-leadership and to communicate the unique position and commitments of IoP, the job holder is responsible for executing and implementing holistic communication strategies, stakeholder engagement plan and management, publications, social media and other electronic means with a view to optimising IoP’s core mission.

Major Tasks

  • Manages and executes communication strategies through copywriting, content creation and curation; and engages and manages outside agency(ies) to develop and executes the communication strategies
  • Manages and housekeeps communication channels of IoP, including but not limited to annual report, webpages, social media, regular newsletters and monthly updates, publications and reports; develops and manages impact and outcome measurements for these communication channels
  • Curates and develops campaign(s) and promotional efforts to better showcase the commitment and contribution of IoP to national and international communities with the supports from the Club and its Charities Trust
  • Supports to collaborate with internal divisions and departments of the Club to maximise the exposure and presence of the Club and its Charities Trust and to showcase the integrated business model of the Club to partners and stakeholders
  • Supports to develop the implementation of IoP-wide new initiatives

Education

Bachelor degree in business or other related disciplines.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-6 years relevant experiences in media and communications or related sectors (and those with experiences in social media / digital means are at an advantage)
  • Good understanding of the philanthropic landscape, preferably regionally and internationally
  • Experienced in executing communication strategies in sizable organisations
  • Capable of engaging and managing stakeholders
