Senior Barista - Stable Cafe (Happy Valley Clubhouse)
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Cafe or Coffee Bar through providing excellent food and beverage services to Members and their guests in the restaurant according the established standards at top quality level to ensure business and customer service objectives and targets are achieved consistently. He/she is accountable for delivering experiences and touch points for a unique customer journey, actively engaging with members during operation hours, and managing with a team of people whose priority is excellence and engagement.
The Job
- Greet and interact with Members, learn about their preferences and using detailed knowledge to recommend coffee or other beverages
- Prepare and serve quality coffee drinks with good presentation, as well as other beverages, snacks and desserts for Members and their guests
- Communicate with Members daily and confidently promote specialty and seasonal coffee offerings
- Maintain the workspace clean, safe and organized, and handle all relevant equipment and tools properly and maintain supplies of counter and beverages according to forecast demand
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by supervisor
About You
- At least 1-3 years' relevant experience (especially coffee making & knowledge)
- Ability to keep a calm and mature demeanor at all times
- Familiar with basic coffee knowledge (such as origin of coffee, roasting & processing) and teas
- Well-versed of 2 brewing methods (including Pour over & Espresso machine)
