Senior Manager, Charities (Representative Offices in Mainland China)

Job Summary

The job holder is responsible for strategic engagement with Mainland stakeholders in governmental and non-governmental sectors to support the club's and development. This job holder leads a team in outreach to key stakeholders, including local authorities and community partners, particularly in Shenzhen and Hangzhou, while seeking support for ongoing initiatives. The job holder also traks relevant policies and managing the Club's Mainland donations and sponsorships to foster constructive relationships.

Major Tasks

  • Supervise a team to build and maintain relationships with Mainland authorities and key stakeholders to support the Club's development and business expansion.
  • Stay updated on policy and political changes, regularly mapping stakeholders and formulating strategic engagement plans aligned with the Club's goals.
  • Design and execute tailored engagement activities to enhance stakeholders' understanding of the Club and build rapport.
  • Create platforms for dialogue with key stakeholders, including regular briefings and meetings, acting as a primary contact point for liaising with authorities.
  • Plan and coordinate VIP visits from Mainland authorities to the Club's major events, managing requests from stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Explore and develop sponsorship opportunities with Mainland authorities to showcase the Club's contributions to society and promote its development in the Mainland.
  • Identify and engage in activities organized by key stakeholders that align with the Club's development goals through sponsorships or other means.
  • Advise management on donation and sponsorship opportunities, maintaining a central register and providing reports on the Club's Mainland contributions.
  • Guide team members in executing social betterment initiatives and donations to demonstrate the Club's societal impact in the Mainland.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to create publicity and communication materials for engagement and promotion in the Mainland.
  • Participate in cross-team projects, providing guidance to colleagues to drive strategic initiatives.

Education

A recognized university degree in social sciences, public administration, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related discipline.
