Senior Manager, Property Facilities Technical Services

The Division

The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.

 

The Job

  • Responsible for the 24/7 operations located at Happy Valley Racecourse and the management of the Shan Kwong Road Park.
  • Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Operations & Maintenance:
      • Ensure all equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.
      • Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
      • Conduct fault diagnosis and implement remedial actions promptly.
      • Organize condition surveys and optimize building and equipment performance.
    • Compliance & Risk Management:
      • Maintain adherence to statutory, licensing, and sustainability requirements.
      • Implement Asset Health Management Plans and review risks periodically.
      • Ensure safety procedures for all operations and projects.
    • Contract & Performance Management:
      • Supervise and monitor maintenance service providers using KPIs.
      • Review and update SLAs with stakeholders regularly.
      • Develop quality and performance management systems for contractors.
    • Budgeting & Resource Planning:
      • Prepare annual budgets for operations, maintenance, and capital works.
      • Control expenses within approved budgets.
    • Race-Day & Incident Management:
      • Oversee property readiness for race meetings and manage operational risks.
      • Ensure compliance with Incident Management Plans and Business Continuity Plans.
    • Continuous Improvement & Best Practices:
      • Integrate industry best practices and new technologies for efficiency.
      • Promote knowledge sharing and process improvements.
    • People Development:
      • Establish training and development programs.
      • Conduct competency assessments, succession planning, and mentoring.
      • Manage staff performance and emergency drills.

About You

  • Degree in Building Surveying/ Building Engineering/ Architectural/ Structural Engineering or Facilities Management, Operations Management;
  • A member of IFMA, RICS, HKIE, BSOMES, CIBSE, ASHRAE, HKIA, RIBA, CIOB or equivalent
  • 10 years’ experience in the related technical and facilities management fields with at least 7 years in managerial level.
  • Technical experience in managing and maintaining mission critical assets for large scale facilities, such as Sports Complex, Hospitality, Audio-Visual, Club operations and Club experience with a solid track record in maintenance management, leading multi-disciplinary, cross-divisional teams on large-scale theme park/mega resort facilities operations.
