Senior Procurement Officer (Hospitality, Food & Beverages)

Job Summary

The job holder plays a crucial role in optimizing the procurement process within the organization. This job holder is responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing and tendering activities, ensuring that products and services are acquired efficiently and in alignment with business needs. Key responsibilities include handling purchase requests, providing administrative support for projects, and preparing bilingual reports on sourcing outcomes. The job holder also involves conducting price assessments, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and identifying opportunities for supplier development and evaluation.

Major Tasks

  • Handle purchase requests from the business and follow through the entire purchasing process to ensure products are obtained on time according to business needs.
  • Provide support in carrying out project administration and related key activities, including preparing project materials or reports in dual languages and consolidating sourcing outcomes into regular reports.
  • Handle RFQ and provide support on the tender process. Conduct price assessments on RFQ and support contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best value for the Club and Business Units.
  • Identify and report potential development opportunities with suppliers and support supplier evaluations.
  • Handle day-to-day operational tasks and ad-hoc purchases or other stretch projects as assigned.

Education

Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related disciplines.
