The Division
The Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.
The Job
- Support the development of the cross-border horse movement operating model for CRC
- Oversee daily cross-border horse movement activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
- Assist the Deputy Executive Manager Cross Border Horse Movement in developing operational protocols for mainland special projects, including but not limited to Conghua Racecourse race meetings, and Team Racing
- Collaborate with IT to develop a new system for Team Racing
- Coordinate with Transport & Logistics Team in Conghua Racecourse and IT to enhance the current customs clearance system
- Conduct statistical analysis with the Racing IT team and Stable Management team to develop the future operation model, providing justification for any additional resources needed
- Report duties at CRC race meetings and support Deputy Executive Manager Cross Border Horse Movement in monitoring the transportation protocol
- Develop operational staff for daily logistics operations and monitoring systems in areas such as people, processes, systems, service quality, resource optimization, cost management, and related planning
- Apply key performance indicators to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining high internal customer quality and service levels
- Drive continuous performance improvement and implement continuous improvement methodologies in key service areas.
- Support the establishment of the Hong Kong Transport and Cross-Border Horse Movement Standard Operating Procedures and a local employee handbook for drivers, detailing operating procedures and defining roles and responsibilities
- Ensure the team and operations comply with Standard Operating Procedures
- Build and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the Club’s fulfillment model
- Manage the deployment of staff resources by planning allocation, establishing performance standards, motivating staff, fostering team spirit, monitoring and evaluating performance, making recruitment decisions, and initiating staff training
About You
- At least 5 years of logistics and transport experience, preferably with cross-border experience, including the last 3 years at a senior supervisory level, gained from reputable and sizable companies, along with strong analytical skills
- Experience in project implementation with full involvement
- Well-connected with key stakeholders and familiar with the transportation of customs-regulated cargo.
- A degree in supply chain management or related disciplines is preferred
- HK driving license 1, 2 is preferred
