Manager, Project Administration and Control
Job Summary
The job holder aims to ensure effective project management standards for construction or capital work builing related projects within the Club, mainly undertaking significant building, architectural and fit-out works in Racecourses and/ or Clubhouse, focusing on planning, execution, and governance. Key functions include supporting project planning and execution, coordinating with stakeholders to monitor progress, and assisting in identifying milestones and developing procurement documentation. The job holder is critical in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. Required qualifications include project management experience, strong scheduling skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Major Tasks
- Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain scheduling standards, ensuring project control programs are accurate and integrated into the Master Schedule.
- Review project estimates and schedules to ensure resource viability and alignment with project objectives regarding construction of facilities .
- Monitor project execution to maintain control over scope, costs, and timelines, implementing project management controls as necessary.
- Communicate with stakeholders including users, team members, consultants, contractors and vendors to track project progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with business units.
- Analyze data to identify risks and opportunities, and prepare reports for governance meetings on project status.
- Liaise with external consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with regulations and obtain necessary approvals.
- Assume a role in Quality Control, involve and give input in all stages of the project from design, specification, procurement, and especially construction to deliver a quality product.
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating project teams, managing documentation, and facilitating communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by Manager.
Education
A university degree in a relevant discipline such as Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
