The Division
The Security, Integrity and Information Security (SIIS) Division is responsible for the Club’s integrity by combatting criminality, corruption, and information security risks, including cyber security that may impact business. Through robust governance and proactive security measures, SIIS is dedicated to maintaining a secure environment and upholding uncompromising integrity across Club operations.
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible to response, escalate, report and manage incidents of Club-wide security systems, Security Control Centre (SCC), Race Day Security Control Room (SCR) related incidents, Cross Border Horse Movement (CBHM) Tracking - real-time monitoring, incident response, escalation and reporting, support Shift Commander to manage IMCMP activation and support throughout the whole process includes and handle other administrative works / ad-hoc tasks / functional responsibilities as directed.
The Job
- Monitoring of Club wide security systems such as:
- ACS, CCTV, OCBB alarm systems, Fire alarms, Thermal cameras to detect turf incursion, Aeroscope Counter-Drone Detection System.
- Prioritize the critical location case for urgent maintenance and coordinate with the owners for the contingency plan.
- Response, escalate, report and manage daily security incidents in SCC and SCR by:
- Handling all HKJC security incidents being reported to the SCC including incidents in Happy Valley, Sha Tin, Off Course Betting Centres, Conghua Racing Centre etc.;
- Deploying responsible Security Operation team(s) to incidents at scene;
- Collecting and verifying information;
- Triaging incidents' severity and sensitivity;
- Assisting in data collection for incident recording into the incident system.
- Monitor, response, escalate and report cross-border horse movement activity by:
- Conducting pre-departure checks including weather and road condition etc.;
- Performing tracking of horse movement activities and status;
- Providing centralized assistance support to the convoy team with any incidents or unplanned events;
- Being responsible for the CCTV footages Record Management;
- Escalating incidents to senior management and convene HKIMT if necessary.
- Support Shift Commander to manage IMCMP activation and support throughout the whole process includes by:
- Dispatching of meeting request via email to appropriate distribution.
- Dispatching of push notifications via Enterprise Notification System (ENS).
- Preparing of the IMT meeting room, zoom platform and supporting information.
- Managing the distribution lists.
- Housekeeping of meeting room and ENS.
About You
- Diploma/Associate Degree with minimum 3 years of working experience in incident handling, preferably gathered under control center operation
- Competency and literacy with computer and software applications, notably Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fair analytical skills and business acumen
- Ability to work independently under tight schedule and stressed situations
- Willing to work on shift and Public Holidays
- Holder of valid Security Personal Permit; Other security related professional qualification(s) will be a plus.
