Assistant Technical Manager (Application Development) (1-year contract)
Job Summary
The job holder is responsible for managing IT projects that deliver high-quality end-to-end business application solutions and enhance the performance and reliability. This job holder involves collaborating with technical leads, project managers, developers, and business users throughout the project lifecycle to ensure deliverables meet defined scope, schedule, and budget requirements. Key functions include developing and maintaining project budgets, managing change, and reporting project status to senior management.
Major Tasks
- Working collaboratively with product owners, vendors, technical leads, project manager and business users during the phases of requirement, design and development to ensure quality of deliverables and service.
- Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are complete and clear. Review and clarify requirements with various stakeholders including business and IT stakeholders.
- Coordinate the preparation of the project proposal, including effort and cost estimates as well as project timelines, to support funding approval for business and IT initiatives
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Qualifications
Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum Master) are required.
